Hello,

I don't see a PoD for this anymore. Any chance of it coming back? Thanks.

DriveThru is converting all of the black and white books to 70 pound paper. The POD will be back when they finish.

Looking through my print copy and found another error- the attack listings for the first set of dinosaurs (except the very first). Apparently they are duplicated from prior undead critters. Can we get the correct attack listings please?

I am having trouble viewing this file on iOS devices. It will open in the Safari browser but when I save it to a reader app like GoodReader, it will not open.

I also downloaded it to a Windows device to print pages out for use in game and it will not print. Is printing disabled?

Thanks for your help.

Hi David, both Copy/Paste and Printing are enabled. I just tested the file on a Window 10/Adobe Acrobat system with no issues. I am not sure why you would be having issue with the file. This is the first I have heard of iOS issues. May I suggest re-downloading a new copy of the file just in case of a transfer / corruption issue?

I am having same issue. I have attempted multiple downloads and both my iPhone 13 Pro Max running latest iOS as well as my iPad 11 Pro M1 version running latest iPadOS are unable to open the file in Apple Books. Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Found another error that needs correction- which monsters use the new crits tables? I get that those in the robot entry will use the robot table, but what else does?

I generally leave it up to the GM to choose which crit table is appropriate, based on the monster and situation.

I gave this 4 stars as there are just a few too many typos and errors to warrant 5. There is only one that really matters- the 3rd clown stat block is obviously wrong. Of the rest the only one I wonder about is the height of the zilla as 50-80 feet tall is rather short and 500-800 feet indicates it should have even more hit dice.

And please tell me that you have the cover art somewhere that I can enjoy all of it.

Hi Derek, Thank you for the 4 star rating and for pointing out two typos/copypasta errors we missed.

Here is a link to a few of the original oil paintings, by Nate Marcel, for the covers of several Umerican books: https://sites.google.com/site/fantasyillustrator/home/shop

Hit Dice: 4d10
MV: 30’
Act: 2d20
SP: spellcasting, turn inedible, inspire, burger mace

Your welcome and thank you for the information and link.

So how tall is a zilla?

Honestly. as tall as you want it to be. 50-80 feet is 5-8 stories tall (if you assume a story is 10 feet, which isn't quite accurate but works well enough). When there aren't that many skyscrapers left, that's pretty tall. Meanwhile, 500-800 feet tall means you're approaching half the Sears (I refuse to call it the Willis) Tower height.

We generally play fast and loose with ranged and distances, but unless you're playing on a grid or using a measuring tape, there's no need for 100% accuracy, particularly with the height of a monster. So use GM Fiat to make it as tall or as small as you want. We're OK with that.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
