I like both of these characters, and think that they are good additions to the collection, but why, oh why do we have to use the plural third person pronoun to refer to a person of indeterminate gender? Its a massacre of the English language!

I did like the new spell and shaping ritual quite a bit. Very cool thematic elements!

These two characters are quite interesting, and for the chump change I picked them up for I'm certainly not going to say I expected something awesome.

Ifraja is cool, a crotetchy sorceror with a new spell and a new shaping ritual. He's cool and kinda interesting, especially if you want a desert game or a wandering magician.

The Broker is an archetype that they don't quite live up to, being that they're a fully burned character who still has some serious difficulties compared to a social-focused Exalted who has no Charms. They come with 2 bodyguards, who are QCs with basic enough stats you'll waltz past them ("The Sentry" rolls 5 dice for noticing you coming, "The Guard" has a 6-die attack roll)

There are two characters on offer here. The first is a Sorcerer with a couple interesting mechanical bits and bobs (new spell and shaping ritual). However, he's ultimately nothing special, and even his best tricks are going to be fairly useless as a challenge for even starting PCs. I don't just mean in combat, here. I mean he's a total pushover and will be a mere speedbump in any contest with a party of Exalted.

The second is a generic information broker who stepped out of a generic 80's fantasy novel. He's bland, he comes with no itneresting plot hooks, and his stat block could be created by a novice ST in about ten minutes. He doesn't even have the virtue of neat mechanical bits and bobs. The only challenge he will pose for PCs is the debate about whether to simply beat information out of him, or scare him half to death with a single intimidation roll.

To call either of them "adversary" is disengenuous at best. Give these a pass unless you are really hard up for NPC ideas.
