Campaign Starts is designed to help you with this problem. Giving you 50 hooks or way to start your campaign, many with sub-options or further refinements.

They can be used for practically all genres, although some may be more suitable for certain genres when compared to others.

FYI, there's an error visible in the preview. Pages 5 and 6 say roll d100/2 and round down to get d50. It should be rounding up.

A fine book plagued by design. THe font is a distracting Arial, the tables are all center justified, leading to weirdly large spaces in the middle of sentences, and the headings disappear into the page. It's easy to scroll past a new entry without realizing it. That said, the background and page numbers are aesteticaly pleasing, and do not detract at all from the content.

The suggestions themselves are solid, though the amount of elaboration on each is inconsisent. Some scenarios have excellent follow-up questions, (you're in prison -- are you guilty? Was it justified?) while others simply state a scenario at face value.

The scenarios are a mix of trope, slow, and mid-action, which is nice. There are some good ideas here, and for the price, you can't go wrong, especially if you can get past the design choices.

Hiya - Have to put a small correction out there first - The font I am using for the main text is Calibri not Arial and is full justified not centered (except on the numbers part granted - But the majority of people seem to prefer it that way which is why i did like that)). But on reflection, I think I might be able to make the headings stand out a bit more. Can't promise when I'll be able to do it (just me doing all the things for EG) - but will definitely have a look into it.

These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
